South African Exotic Pools

I have been trying to open an account with either the South African Tab or its international affiliate .
The South African Tab clearly said I have to have a SA bank Acc or SA passport.
They refered me to their International affiliate Betab.

Great I thought,tried to log on but they wont accept Australian residents .
Further enquiry I found that Betab is 50% owned by TABCORP.

Great I thought ,I have 2 TABCORP Accs surely they will facilitate my enquiry given the betting form I wish to do is not offered by TABCORP here on SA racing(pick 6 on SA racing).

No such luck no discussion entered into .Refused to offer any solution.

I use to complain when I travelled to China and Vietnam that I could not access Betfair because of their archaic internet laws..Anyone have any advice save for shifting to another country?

I had no problem in Vietnam or Japan.
The question is why would you want a TAB a/c in any country?

I want to access the pick 6 jackpot pools in South Africa.

I can do it in New Zealand,UK and Australia for their respective Pick 6 and scoop 6 pools.

In this Global internet age I thought TABCORP would be facilitating ,even if they restricted my account to that particular form of betting.

At the end of the day for them it is about turnover .

I am not affecting the local market .

Have you tried to open a SA bank account.
it seems as if you do that you will be set.
