1) Why can't you bet on Hong Kong races?

2) Why can you bet on place in-play on UK and other overseas races but not AUS?

3) Why can't you bet in-play on South African and Singapore races?

Have the respective countries themselves put these rules in place?

1. They only cover them occassionaly.

2. Legal reasons. Talk to the Australian Govt if you don't like it.

3. Not enough turnover so they do not offer it.

I thought I would add to Q2. I wish they would change the law.

Can you get stats on your betting activity with Betfair?

I'd be interested (and happy to pay) to find out what % of my losing lay bets over a period of 7 months fell between the average odds of _ _ _

i.e. how many lay bets lost between
1.01-1.50 (..%)
1.51-1.99 (..%)
2.00-2.50 (..%)

They can send you the lot, but they won't query it for you, it's up to you to run that.

Ahhh ok, so get them to send through every lay bet i've done in the last 7 months and i just sort my own stats on the odds?

Chrome Prince

Yep, easiest way is to import it into a database and run a query by odds range.

it comes as a csv file. Just use excel. Providing you use the newest version it won't have any issue opening it. Add a Pivot table and you have all your answers.

Wouldn't you just go to My Account~Betting~Settled~Exchange~Show Detail and enter date range?

That displays the Average Odds for each bet.

It doesn't go back far enough.

There's a little trick, you can go back further, if you manually change the from date, but you only get a few more months ;)

Hi UB,

I got my P&L today for every lay bet since Sept 10th to today, but I'm not the best with excel. Any chance of getting some help with filtering the data to find all losing lay bets and then getting an idea of what percentage of losing lay bets were between 1.01-1.49, 1.50-1.99, etc etc? I can send through the spreadsheet, otherwise any help here would be greatly appreciated. Cheers :)
