Tatts have just limited me to win $450 on trots. Curious to know what others have experienced with Tatts.

I haven't bet much with them.

A few Q's: What's your betting frequency with them and are you up or down overall? At least you can still win $450 and haven't been fully limited.

Can you still bet on horses with no such limit?

Have you phoned up and got an explanation?

Yeah I bet a lot with Tatts. Haven't experienced any limiting with horses, but I don't push it very hard. No haven't spoken to them yet, was hoping to hear from others about their experiences first.

Today though, some trots bets had the $450 limit applied, others didn't. Noticed this on win bets on the same event, so not sure what's going on there.

Are you up or down overall with them? From what you've said it could be a lot worse.

Positive - can't imagine why anyone would limit a losing account. Yeah it's not the end of the world... unlike TAB who have me down to $5 return. At odds of $10 I can only get 50c on.

I can't get 1 cent on at TAB.

I've heard of some who are getting their lawyers involved because TAB are selecting their customers who are only commercially viable.

Bookmakers limit you even if you're down overall with them too.

Ha ha ha ... good luck to them. Its been tried before and basically the bookmakers always win because its not against the law and its in their terms and conditions.

Fred

How's it going now with Tatts? Do you reckon you turn over more than $100k a year with them? A manager at Tatts told me straight up over the phone "no point in lying to you, if you're betting big, turning over $100k+ a year and winning there may be limits placed on your account."

100K is not much. Many of the punters on this forum would turn that over easily.

Yeah i know. I turned over $102k with TAB in less than 90 days.

Pat, the limit hasn't changed since I last reported it. Last time I worked it out my turnover was 5M+/year. I often have huge losing spells so maybe that's why Tatts haven't been harder on the limits.
