Interesting that a lot of US tracks that went to Polytracks, ripped it up due to injuries and reverted back to dirt such as Del Mar.
That's a monumental expenditure :eek:

Interesting C/P watching the foot impressions on the two surfaces.

No wonder the dirt surface of a 570 kg horse would lead,
To all sorts of stress factures.

Glad they do not have them here although I think,
Port Augusta may be & yesterday I saw some races on Sky,
From Darwin looked like Dirt, have enough problems,
With Synthetic so Geelong & the new polyester at Pakenham are out,

I restrict myself to Turf tracks day meetings only.

More than enough seven day's a week.
