View Full Version : High strike rate betting systems!

Here are a few betting systems that I have used over the years that have a pretty decent strike rate for winners.

When a horse wins a city handicap race by three lengths and then enters another handicap it comes in with a weight advantage, because the handicapper does not handicap it for the full three lengths win.

So here are the few rules.

Betting System 1

1. The horse has won a city race by three lengths, but under four lengths. (Experience has shown when a horse wins by four lengths or more there are often questions about the quality of the field it was meeting, plus it is often very much under the odds at its next start.)

2. Back the horse in its next start in its current campaign provided it is a city race and is also a handicap race.

Betting System 2

This betting system applies to two year olds. Two year olds can show huge improvement from one start to the next. With this in mind, this system has snagged some winners at very nice odds, because punters wrongly decided the horse was out of its class.

Here are the rules.

1. The two year old won its last race by at least three lengths. It doesn't matter whether the win is in the city or country.

2. Back the two year old at its next start in its current campaign, provided it is in a city race.

That's it!

Hope you find these betting systems useful.

Good on ya Neil.
Love them .
My belief is that a good system will basically rely on a weight advantage ,price and form.

I stand to be corrected though .

Cheers.

Hi Grizzle,

Good luck but I think Neil was having a lend when he posted this system.
We all need a good laugh occasionaly to break the boredom and monotony of betting.

Perhaps a little strange but not beyond the bounds of possibility.
Over 15 years it's (System 2) delivered +/- 25% WSR at AvTab of +/- $3.60 POT -5.5% but all dependant on DSLS.
The problem for the avid punter is the need for patience and the ability to enhance the odds by using BestFluc or Betfair and the tiny, inescapable fact that there have only been 350 to 1200 contenders in the past 15 years (depending on DSLS used). Maybe if used as part of a suite of 'Systems' it just might ......
