Here's a betting system which has done pretty well over the years, with plenty of winners and place getters.

This betting system operates on Saturdays at Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metropolitan tracks. You can try Adelaide if you wish.

Here are the rules:

1. Only look at horses that are $3.00 to $6.50 in the pre post market. It's best to find some reliable Saturday morning prices like in Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper.

2. The horse must have a minimum win strike rate of 25% and a place strike rate of 50%.

3. The horse must have had its last start within 14 days.

4. In its last 2 starts in its current campaign the horse must have finished less than 3 lengths from the winner in at least one of these starts. A win in one of these 2 starts will also qualify the horse. If the horse is second up then it must have won or finished less than 3 lengths from the winner in its first up run to qualify.

The main Qld. meeting was at Toowoomba, which is not a metropolitan track, so it was left alone.
