Still can't work out the maths but would have to be one of the biggest payouts anywhere I'm thinking ..

We don't seem to have anything remotely like this kind - size of lottery like return here, or do we??

"Monfass (12/1) and McVicar (12/1) both greeted the judge at Doncaster, Pearl Spectre (10/1) and Boater (15/2) scored at Lingfield and Wishicould (14/1) and Dinsdale (6/1) both saluted at Newbury."
If you multiply all them together 11 x 11 x 9 x 7 x 13 x 5 = $495,495.00

Generally the bookies have a clause they won't pay out above X dollars.
In this case it was lucky it was allowed up to 1 million.

10p each way into £457k is a considerably better return than the odds suggest. Didn't TAB used to have a product with monstrous payouts once upon a time? Hmmmm .. back to the drawing board my dear Ocho!!

I tend to agree more with the comments that go with these story's. Having been banned several years ago by these gutless wonders myself.
