Minimum bet rule might happen in UK

Let's hope that UK law makers aren't as toothless as they are here, and not let the bookies squirrel around it with phone betting.

In my opinion it's not a minimum bet that should apply, every bookmaker corporate or otherwise should be required to accept a bet to lose say $1000 from any punter on any event, or their license goes, and it should be totally illegal to close an account once accepted as a customer. If they are scared of a punter they can simply lay it off so what's the problem?
