FOUARDEE (1) looks the hardest to beat. EMPIRE (4) the next best. PRIVATE STEER (2) may find it a bit short, but can still fill a place. Longshot - The Gai Waterhouse trained RED HANNIGAN (6) may surprise fresh.

I think I'll add another name into the mix - Lucky Night. It's a class and distance increase but this lad is a battler in the sprints.

The main threat is Private Steer who usually likes a little more distance to make her move.

Outside chance is Red Hannigan who has won at this track and at this distance but is coming back from a spell. The Recent barrier trial at this track helps him.
