Heres aa interesting staking plan that can work on the right selections .
It is an progressive staking plan with a built in feature of each way betting , which many punters will favour
The idea is for the divisor to progress in groups of 2 E.G Divisor 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,etc
To win a figure of say 0.5% or $5 for every $1000 bank.
Back the same amount on win as well as place
1)Whenever a winner is struck at the same odds as the divisor , you have reached your target , so you can start afresh.
2) If you strike a winner that does not clear the target, because the winning odds were less than the divisor.
Divide the odds of the winner in half & deduct that from the previous divisor (ignoring the fractions) ,
so as to calculate your next divisor for the next 2 bets.
E.g. winner pays $3.80=2.8/1(ignore the fraction 0.80)=2/1 half of this is 1.0 ,
You now deduct this from the previous divisor.
E.g winner pays $6.60= 5.6/1(ignore the fraction=5/1 then halve =2.5 deduct this off you previous divisor.
If you score a place getter only , repeat that divisor once more.
If you strike 10 non winners in a row , write off 60% of the target & continue with the remaining 40% of target using current divisors.
Forget about the 60% loss.
We are assuming we will make up for it along the way with some of the overs we may strike.
We are assuming that you are a punter who targets horses in the 2/1-6/1 range.
With this plan we will make a profit if we are able to strike a bunch of winners that equate to half the odds one would normally need ,just to break even.
I like using this plan on 2nd & 3rd TAB favs. & backing the one of the two who I feel has the strongest chance of winning.
You dont need many winners in this rang to come out in front.
They also have a good place strike rate,which helps to hedge the punters exposure to risk with this plan.
