Pretty good tipping there TESTA.

Based on the figures posted & assuming all started - my quick calc based on a flat stake $1win each selection ($165) brought back $159.80, and some nice multiple returns as well

Hi ElGordo.... perhaps a rethink is in order......

Werribee.

R3.

(2) Saladare - 3rd, $1.50.
(3) Classic Steal - 4th.
(5) Wild Rapid - 5th.
(4) Cosmic Coincidence - 1st, $8.10, $2.10
(6) She's A Nightmare - 2nd, $1.60.

Quinella - $12.80.
Exacta - $29.40.
Trifecta - $170.20.
First 4 - $542.00.

To have scored the Tri or the First4 you would have needed to box all 5 selections, at a cost of $60 per Tri and $120 per First 4....

Doing this on all 33 races would have resulted in...

Trifectas: $1980 out $1640 in
First 4's: $3960 out $ 821 in

Ouch!

Cheers,
Chris.

TESTAROSSA is having 5 picks per race, but I think he is listing them in order of preference?

Looking at the results, if you backed everything over 4/1 you would have done pretty well.

Both Testarossa and xptdriver are doing pretty well lately, but only if you back the overs which is what it's all about.

No offence Chrome Prince, but I don't see any of that stated by TESTAROSSA at the top of the thread - have you got esp or something? & how do you tell the overs when predicted winning odds have not been included :???:

It's really quite simple Betty Boop. As El Gordo mentioned recently on another thread, it's just a question of getting into 'character'.

Actually Dr P. I'm now starting to wonder just how close Wyong is to Canberra

Hi all,

Chrome Prince is right, they are ordered in preference of top pick to 2nd pick etc.

With the multiples it is best to add a few more selections for Trifectas and First 4's, it might make the bet a bit bigger, but some of the dividends you might get are huge.

El Gordo will you give it up

No offence taken Betty.
I'm sure on another thread TESTAROSSA mentioned this when he first started his ratings, either that or I'm getting mixed up with xptdriver.

When I mentioned overs it was not really an accurate statement.
What I meant was rather a kind of dutch bet, in that you could back all the runners over 4/1 to make a profit and leave out anything under 4/1.

You two! - where's the other one which makes up the three stooges only to find it's a split personality.

Are you insinuating I'm a stooge Chrome Prince, isn't that sort of like calling someone a fool

Many contributors post different selection / betting variations, throughout their forum "life". It can be a bit hard making assumptions for current threads, based on previous threads posted, when "driving" instructions are omitted

On a scale of 1-10, where do you think your Forum credibility stands right now?

Betty, I already said no offence was taken by your previous response, and my second response was not directed at you at all.
Just at the niggling persistant elements that insist we all have aliases and yet the accusers have just revealed themselves to be the main offenders.

I have better things to do Dr than worry about what you may or may not think of me.

Again taken out of context to suit your own paranoid complex.

Both TESTAROSSA and xptdriver post ratings almost daily and I read them.
It's quite easy to get confused between what was said a month ago and who wrote it.
Now take a chill pill, and repeat frequently less your paranoia becomes untreatable.
