As posted in another area, any of the MAJOR racing publicatgions would pay a premium package to ANYONE that can show a consistent profit at level stakes, why is it that none are able to demonstrate that to THEM, yet continue to claim the opposite on this forum?????

If anyone can make consistent profit [not this boy if the full meaning of the word 'consistent' is applied] on the punt, why would they want a job as a poorly paid tipster ? I do get your point though and it definetly has legs. Perhaps it is a case poor record keeping [or none at all] ?

Cheers.

Partypooper,

I think you'll find that the vast majority of successful punters don't bet each race. Tipsters are required to tip for every race. There's a major difference. It would be interesting to see how each of the tipster's "specials" fare as against all their tips... Has anyone ever done a review of that particular angle?

I do agree, however, that most of the tipsters tips are next to useless. TB over at sky is a classic example... I don't think he could pick a fight in a bikie bar... However it seems that everytime he names his donkey, the mugs duly go ahead and back it as evidenced by it's sudden shortening on the tote.

Cheers,
Chris.

Stebbo, I think you missed Party Pooper's point by a long yard. I think he meant some of the claims made here about winning ability or am I loosing the plot compleatly [?].

Cheers.
