Two famous poets,Bill Shakespeare & Robbie Burns,having both passed away & residing in Heaven,were arguing every day as to who was the best poet.Saint Peter had to do something to end the dispute&and keep the peace,so he arranged a contest.Each one had to make a verse,the topic being Timbuktu.Shakespeare was to go first.
His verse was
A ship went sailing out from Kent
across the ocean wide it went
it cruised across the ocean blue
and came to rest in Timbuktu
Robbie's response
Jock and I walked down thru Kent
we saw three ladies in a tent
they were three
and we were two
so I bucked one........and Timbuktu!!
