Chris,
You are wrong I am missing 1/2 a race and thats because there was a bloody earthquake and all the nags fell down a big hole in the track.

And yesterday at Sandown in R/5 half the field did fall down a hole and no.5 Bust up [ 12.60 win ] came home; well ridden by that good little apprentice B.Cross [ 3kg. claim ]. Thank you very much ! .

Cheers.

No one thought you were having a go at sportz, it was just a bit of stirring and a laugh.
As sportz posted what is the theory behind it, as you must admit it dom't seem to make sense.

Nah, I didn't think you were having a go at me or my system. It just seemed like a bit of a strange question.

It's not such a wierd theory though Kenchar. Back in the old days, the daily double was ALWAYS on races 5 and 7 and they were ALWAYS the 'best' races of the day. So effectively you would be backing the 'best' horse in the 'best' race. These days however, the double isn't always on races 5 and 7, and yesterday there were actually NINE races in Sydney and Melbourne, so that throws it a bit out of whack.
