For me, good riddens, every time i back the bludger he slaughters them , then comes out and rides 4 winners the next time. Is he related to J.byrne, he does the same thing. cant catch them.

I think you have got your wires crossed,the story I read was that he is going to Japan,but will be back for the Spring Carnival in Melbourne.As for replacing him,you can't!Damien & Beadman are head and shoulders above the rest(IMO).Tru Glow was the bet of the day yesterday,and he duly got it home.Also backed Genius and Evil,only cause Damien was on board.How often do you get 20/1 about one of his mounts??Good onya champ!!

He will be sadly missed if it is true. He is good and top of the VIC jockeys but he is not dominant for the class of horse that he rides. Other good VIC jockeys are Noel Callow and Nash Rawiller who rate closely. Michael Rodd is a very good jockey in Brisbane and is worth following.
