At Morphettville, the two fancied runners ran the quinella with the heavily backed Rinky Dinc $3.80 outlasting Star of Gretchen $4.0.in the Australasian Oaks. Outsider Danabaa $11 took out the Yallambee Classic defeating the very well backed Shablec $9 into $4.60.
It was a mixed bag for racing punters on the weekend. At Eagle Farm outsider Winning Belle was too good for the favourite Toulouse Lautrec $4 in the Queensland Guineas.
Punters then hit back in the last two races with Only words $2.30 and Besame Mucho $2.10 both heavily backed.
Only Words is clear favourite in pre post betting in both the Stradbroke and Doomben 10000.
