Over the past seven days both the Unitab and Tabltd systems lost - they are slowly going backwards. The Unitab system once had 10 consequetive winners, so the current results are very disappointing - lucky to even get to winners in a row! If both systems don't perform this week I'll pull the plug on them.

My system had a small loss, but the Trotting system did quite well. There were 18 selections for 11 winners producing a 21% POT.

No selections today for any of the systems.

Isnt it funny how systems can be explosive for a while then completely crush you, but we keep trying. Michael I want to thank you for your diligence and tenacity to find the winning system, (Don't give up).

Using the archives part of the Unitab site I actually went through 8 months worth of data from 2002 and went backwards dramaticly using the Unitab system. After the first couple of months I did seem a bit surprised as it had been performing well through April and early May this year but over the long term it does not seem to perform all that well.

Hi, Paulmc.

Thanks for the information, but did you apply our filters - for example, a selection had to be in the top three pre-post favourites? The Unitab archives would not be anle to provide this. However, I would not now be surprised with your results as the system is going nowhere. As Bucking Seabiscuit so succicntly and accurately says "systems can be explosive for a while and then completely crush you".

The system was so promising especially after ten successive winners which few systems can claim, but now...

Michael,

I've been working on some system ideas using the Unitab ratings, and I must say that they look really promising. However, it's taking me a frustratingly LONG time checking out all the results and working out the best rules to use. Sorry about that. Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to post something for you pretty soon!

Hi, Sportznut.

I'm looking forward to your posting. Hopefully your rules will prove to be of merit.
