Richmond couldn't win if they started half an hour early.

Cheers Mo.

floydy, dont think richmond can win but,+38.5 will probably be enough as w/coast are struggling a bit but should do enough to win. I took the dockers +46.5 and stgeorge +15.5 friday double. luckily, betting on the net you dont have tickets because i would have torn mine up at 1/2 time.

It was a bit like that wasnt it .Same story the other week Bris v Carlton.
With saints at 16-24 a converted try in the other direction would have seen me blow out by half a point . I was watching the live scores coming in It went right to the wire for me

like your 1st multi best, big chance, 2nd good chance , 3rd chance, do you think +60.5 for carlton is enough, roosters could be a worry, i follow the roosters , but im going with the warriors.

Yeah its a bit rough I know the last multi was a bit of an afterthought I only had a fiver on it .I figure if i spend 20 or 30 on multis and i stay alive even till Satuday night Its more excitng than belting the same through a pokie in 10 mins and ive given the horses away apart from some $2bets (my last bet was adel.cup backed 3 horses including Pantani -I seen it win the duke of norfolk)I just cant get interested anymore dont even buy the paper for the form guide

1st race adelaide today, i should win, won a dead tack and the fav has failed 6 times in the wet and the other fav hasn't started in it.Big drop in class on the previous 2 starts to win easily at the bridge.

I notice that sometimes they do that, i think they adjust the markets, because i wanted to have the penrith/bulldogs pick your own start on friday and it wasn't up either

I don't bet on the races much either during the footy season, its more profitable with all the options available , only had 1 small loss in the 11 rounds so far, i just wish the footy could go all year round.

I'll wait until todays bets are over and back the warriors and eels with a start tomorrow.I might only have 1 or 2 points scored bets this week as this is a better round for H2H picks.

Floydy,
Like the multis concept..where do you go for the best source? Agree that it makes the sports watching even more exciting...

Good luck with GM Gold...have also cut down on the horses but have the odd punt using Williams and Matera's picks...own a couple of donkeys myself (that have still yet to run) will keep you all posted!

Good luck and betting this weekend...

Floydyboy,

Have you thought of having separate Multi bets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday? You could have a Friday night double, then have a serarate multi involving about 4 or 5 games from both codes on the Saturday and then another multi including another 4 or 5 games on the Sunday. It would give you more chance of winning and would give you a bit of action on all 3 days. What do you think?

Yep I was thinking that earlier when you were talking about your friday double and cursing . I was thinking its fun but i could be less haphazzard about it all .
Ill start tomorrow
I got a fourposter up last sunday paid 6.20 I agree ,definately a better way to go

sportznut
29th May 2004, 10:11 PM
Ummm, I wasn't cursing about a Friday double. That must have been someone else.

However, I do like to bet on the Friday night AFL/NRL double if I'm confident of picking both winners and I can get reasonable value. I didn't actually have a go this week, because although I was pretty certain about Essendon, I wasn't quite as sure about the Broncos/Dragons game.

It was me, guilty as charged, i got my friday double up, but was cursing as my 1st saturday bet went down and i had to start again last night. Took sharks -16.5/ raiders -3.5/ storm +6.5.@ $ 4.84.
Took a 2nd one adding pt adel -4.5,bulldogs +11.5,eels +6.5 @ $17.25,1 down and 1 to go, i'm in front for the weekend so now i can sit back and watch them go round.

cheers

Looks a good chance and at juicy odds.
Ive backed parra +11.5 ,+6.5, and straight out apart from that i only had those 3 dead multis.
good luck

goldmember
30th May 2004, 09:11 AM
floydy , did you look at the points scored section, plenty of value there, alomst took bris team pts 21-30 @ $2.75 and stgeorge team pts 21-30 @ $2.90 on friday but changed my mind, then watched stgeorge score that late try :24-22,would have had a double collect on that one. you could look at certain games and think at least 1 team will score in a points range and back both, you still win if one does, but in a close game like fridays game, a double collect, it gives you something to watch. bulldogs @$2.45, penrith @ $2.60 21-30.
Joel Monahan is a try scoring machine for the raiders and H2H with Scott Donald for the most trys in the game he was @$2.60, should of had something on him.

When i look at bets like that I can honestly say that my mind goes blank .I suppose its my lack knowledge.
If asked who I thought WILL win today . Iwould say Port,Saints,Roosters,Parra but as far as points scored I wouldnt have the foggiest

30th May 2004, 09:38 AM
OK,i know not everybody likes or knows those sorts of bets, so IF i can find a few each week i'll post them before the games, then if you want to have a multi into some H2D or other points scored, thats if you have a sports tab acct.

Only had 1 this week , on friday i had a tie between Reece.Simmonds[saints] and Stuart Kelly[broncos] @ $1.90, because i couldnt see simmonds scoring against the broncos and kelly hardly evers scores a try, thought i had it wrapped up till about 10 mins from the end, when the saints wrer cought out wide and kelly squeezed in, in the corner.

30th May 2004, 10:20 AM

There on my banned list, i had them to beat the swans last week in sydney, lost by 1 point, so at home and with adel travelling interstate, i thought they were specials with a start, but never again. Iv'e got a banned list and all the teams on it are not having a cent on them, anyway by doing that it will limit my bets which might be a good thing also.
