I like this style of picking em..
What about stoping when your in front for the day no matter how little it is, would that work?
Although you more than likley have tried that? as maybe you need to punt all the selections to make up for the the loosing days.
Ive tried similiar ways with the Dogs, some good results some not so good..

havn't looked at your proposal. there may be value in it. I Have a feeling that loosing days would probably kill it off.
