Not a good start. The racecaller said Twinky was 'desperately unlucky', but they don't pay out on that unfortunately.

I, too, have been "desperately unlucky" in picking my 2nd place runners for my quinellas. If you're truly bored, check out this link for the current #1 U.S. country song. Ah, Canadian whiskey strikes again. HAHA.

I will translate anything requested here.

I've been given the tip about Corriente in the last at Sunshine Coast..
fingers Crossed
i'm also going to have a dip on Queen Callow
Thanks Sportznut in advance ..

Well, I hope for your sake Corriente does a bit better than Queen Callow.

Not a good day at all for my tips so far. Swan Hill R6 & 7 were just afterthoughts and I really should have left them alone. I also made a big mistake in race7 at Launceston. Some Cheer was definitely the system selection for that race but for some silly reason, I left it out. Live and learn.

Nice cold exacta at Gold Coast race 7, Sportz!. 4-1 win money suits me well. William also had the winner as a best bet, and I thank him as well.

Hey Sportz, thanks for Bazelle - you and william combined to get me a winner (well not really win, just get back money from my earlier wages!)

Now i've just gotta wait for Corriente - i had a fair bit on that by my standards

Yes, I was VERY confident about Bazelle and I thought Victory Ranger was the only possible danger, so the Quinella and Exacta were nice.

Sportz:

Another nice job having the #4 at Sunshine Coast race 8. I got it at 9-1.

Thanks,

Glenn

Ahhh yeah Glenn, I'm afraid I really can't take any credit at all for that horse. When I posted my tips, I forgot that there were 9 races at the Sunshine Coast, so those tips for race 8 were actually meant to be for race 9. I've corrected it now. Anyway, if my mistake led you into a winner, then I'm glad about that.

HAHA. Horseracing is a funny game wherever it runs. When actually at a racetrack here, I will not change a mispunched ticket, whether it's my fault or the clerks. I once cashed a $100 mispunched ticket. Thanks for your honesty and humility, Sportz.

Geez, it was pretty silly to not pick a horse called Swan Hill AT Swan Hill.

TheAvenger

Thanks for the tips, Sportz. The 1-4 you intended for the 9th worked as well there as it did in the 8th, for a $20 quinella. It's more or less 2 AM here, and time for this old man to go to bed. Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

interesting that you tipped jones in launceston.
he was beaten 3.75 lengths last time by a horse that carried several kgs more than him and he went up 5 kgs today.
and he was even money a multitude of reasons to show a lack of faith. but you still put your hand in the fire.
you are made of sterner stuff than me.
best wishes.

Yeah, thanks for that Topsy.

As I said in an earlier post, Some Cheer actually should have been the system selection for that race, but for some reason I had a brain explosion and left it out.

it is a listed horse and i was looking for a bet. didnt find it there. zeva royale was placed in tas guinease four starts ago and won by 10 at $9.20

but sorry to bring up jones but saw the race last start and surge of power that beat him was very impressive.

in case you are wondering why i dont tip myself here.
i couldnt tip a bucket in a 40 knot gale.
and have given up ever giving gratuitous advice (almost) to other better tipsters.
with apologies.
