Hello Sportz.....I've finally gone to the DOGS!!!! ....No ..I enjoy all codes...just playing around with some ratings...the results seem to be going ok...short prices... but a winner is a winner!!!... might keep it going for a while.
Take Care
All the best

Hi William,
I must admit that I know absolutely nothing about greyhound form and I've never really been all that interested in it. However I recently decided to work on some dog systems just for a bit of fun. They're based around the Unitab ratings and on the few occasions that I've looked at the results, they seemed to do pretty well. Anyway, I decided to take another look at them today and I was totally amazed at how well they went. System A & B both tend to pick highly fancied dogs, but System C throws up some longshots and there were a few beauties today:
System A:
GCst 2-8* P 1.70
Gosf 9-3 W 7.40/2.00
Warr 3-1* W 2.60/1.00
Warr 4-7 P 1.30
Warr 6-1* W 1.90/1.30
Warr 10-6 P 1.20
Hors 8-6 W 2.70/1.20
Devon 7-8* W 3.20/1.40
Devon 10-1* W 2.40/1.50
Gawl 2-5 W 2.00/1.20
Gawl 3-6 -
System B:
GCst 5-6 W 4.30/1.70
GCst 6-2 P 1.80
Gosf 7-3 W 2.60/1.90
Hors 8-6 W 2.70/1.20
Devon 1-4 P 1.60
Devon 7-8* W 3.20/1.40
Devon 10-1* W 2.40/1.50
Gawl 2-5 W 2.00/1.20
System C:
Ipsw 5-7 W 13.90/2.30
Lism 4-2 -
Lism 7-5 -
AngPk 7-7 -
AngPk 9-8* -
AngPk 10-7 W 16.00/4.70
Hors 9-6 P 1.10
Devon 5-7 W 9.10/2.40
Gawl 5-6 -
Gawl 11-8* W 18.10/4.30
I hope today wasn't a total fluke. I'll have to have a look at it a bit more over the next few days to see about that. These results certainly look promising though. I just hope the forum curse doesn't strike if I decide to post these tips on here.

A mate of mine decided he'd try a new doggie system - backing in races where there were 'bale' starters, & then back every 'bale' dog to win. Something along the lines of backing any 'bale' dog over 4/1 to make a total race profit & any 'bale' 4/1 or under to cover total race outlay.
His first betting race had 6 'bales' - none of which won, his second betting race had 5 'bales' - and again none won. He used up his start kitty after only 2 sessions & quickly dropped that system.
To rub salt into the wounds, the dog that won the second race (around $25 win) although not named as a 'bale' had a 'bale' mum or dad
And no, he’s not Irish

William,
System C didn't do anywhere near as well tonight, but I guess that was to be expected. System A & B both managed a profit for the win. System B is also looking pretty good for place betting. 16 selections over the last 2 nights and all of them have placed.
System A
selections 16 - wins 8 (return $19.50, profit $3.50), places 13 (return $15.60, loss $0.40)
specials 3 - wins 2 (return $5.00, profit $2.00), places 2 (return $2.10, loss $0.90)
System B
selections 8 - wins 3 (return $12.00, profit $4.00), places 8 (return $11.60, profit $3.60)
specials 2 - wins 1 (return $5.80, profit $3.80), places 2 (return $3.00, profit $1.00)
System C
selections 5 - wins 0(return $0, loss $5), places 1 (return $2.10, loss $2.90)
specials 0

Paddy what does Irish have to do with it?..
I think the value is in dogs actually, maybe because horses are more unpredictable.
