I dont know how its all calculated but those points start dont seem to correspond ...ie
to my way of thinking those prices should be closer or the points start higher....am I off the mark ????
Can someone explain to me how it goes
Is it just the bookies tightening the market for themself

Amazed by those odds on TAB Sportsbet. Usually they have Qld shorter than the NSW Tab. I'm sure all those faithful Qld punters will force those odds in tomorrow.

If you're right sportznut, now's the time for Qld supporters to get onboard.

I hardly ever back Qld (don't want to jinx them). Especially not when they're playing in Sydney. I guess they've got to break their Telstra Stadium hoodoo some time and now is as good a time as any.

If they go out and use the same style of play that they used in the 2nd half of game 2 then they have a chance. Unfortunately, when Hagan was interviewed after the game, he seemed very happy with the way they were playing in the first half and I get the feeling he'll be telling them to go out and play the same way. If they do, they'll probably get beaten.

So you're tipping a draw at the end of normal time then sportznut

Oh no, couldn't go through that damn Golden point again. Queensland teams don't have a clue how to play that.

No Paddy, I think NSW will win, but I'm a bit more confident of a Qld upset before this game than I was before Game 1. As far as the punting side goes, I still have a bet riding on NSW winning the series, so I'll probably just leave it at that and hope against hope that I lose my bet.

The +6.5 is the best value there.

The fact that it's half a point better than a key number is quite attractive.

BTW, pinnacle has +5.5 +102. Not sure about the value of each point in SOO but it has to be worth more than in NRL so the +6.5 might be slightly better.

I am thinking seriously about taking NSW -9.5 at $2.28,just to be safe because I think it could be a blowout, especially with the homeground advantage
cheers
P.S. Ht/Ft double NSW-NSW $2.05 is also good

As I already had a bet riding on NSW winning the series, I didn't have to have another bet last night, but when you think about it, NSW at Telstra Stadium should be a goldmine for serious punters. Qld simply can't win there. That's 8 wins and a draw for NSW from 9 games there, so anyone backing Qld to win is going right against the odds. I'm sure Qld will eventually win there, but at the moment it simply doesn't look like it.
