60 points plus said lion man
and the kanga pie man laughed.
Sometimes you should stick with your first selection.
Fortunately I thought the Lions game was on Sunday, otherwise a large part if not all my winnings would have gone on Adelaide with a 46 point start.

Jimmyboy.
Killing 'em son.If I'm not mistaken your still alive with two certainties and another almost sure.
$1500 dangling tantalisingly close.
Did he or any of his fans do the real thing?
Remind you of anything there Rabbitz?

Jimmy didn't quite explain his selections well enough Mo. He said Roosters (+13), but it wasn't Roosters with 13 points start, it was actually Roosters to win by 13 or more. As they only won by 10 points, I'm afraid that's that. Bad luck Jimmy, because you could well get all of the rest up.
Well done with your win Mo. Lucky you didn't bet on the Crows!!!
My second multi is out the window and my first one is only alive thanks to the Melbourne Storm AND the All Blacks both scoring winning tries in the last few seconds.

Hey Sportznutz. They're the ones that are the most satisfying.
And Rabbitz. If you couldn't get at least 150 to 1 about the Lions @ -140.5 you would have been ripped.
Oh.By the way Sportznut.Apologies for knocking your margin for the Lions win.Obviously Jonathon Brown just gets in the way.
I noticed that the Homedog System for AFL will be working hard next round.
As you have been killing them to date., suggest that the Law of Averages will rear its head and wipe out your whole weekend.
But then again,I have been known to be wrong.(see above).

Yes, I've just had a look at next week's draw and it does look a bit damn scary. Counting AFL and NRL, it looks like there could be as many as NINE selections, and I'm not too confident about any of them!!! Somehow, I think I'll only be putting minimal bets on the system selections next week.

hi fellow punters. I think I got too greedy or maybe I just like to take risks..still a newbie tho... :|
One of my multis won but made a few other bets which are still "alive". So I only made about a $166 profit, hopefully more after today. Guess that's better than nothing. Can relax knowing I won't lose any money this week...
$70.00 @ 6.95 = $486.50(WON)
Brisbane Lions -19.5
Kangaroos -7.5
Sydney Swans +37.5
Collingwood -4.5
Manly Sea Eagles +32.5
Melbourne Storm -2.5
My other multis...
$70.00 @ 11.45 = $801.50(too bad)
Sydney Swans +35.5
Brisbane lions -21.5
Kangaroos -9.5
Collingwood -4.5
Port Adelaide -8.5
Melbourne Demons -17.5
Carlton +48.5
$100 @ 7.50 = $750 (WON)
Sydney Swans +37.5
Melbourne Demons -18.5
Lions -17.5
Port -12.5
kangaroos -4.5
geelong -5.5
Manly +32.5
$150.00 @ 4.64 = $696(dead)
Sydney Swans +37.5
Carlton Blues +45.5
Melbourne Demons -17.5
Brisbane Lions -18.5
Port Adelaide -17.5
Actually, I might make one more bet cos I'm basically just using the profits I made from last week..

Newbie are you Blade?
Bit of a risk taker and prepared to back it up with a dollar or too as well.
Maybe you can share some of your tips with all by putting some tips in the Multibet Competition.
Some people like to share their knowledge after the horse has bolted. No use to fellow punters.Tell you what. After losing my wagers it makes me feel even worse hearing about others good fortune.
Reach out and give others a helping hand.
Oh.And by the way.Well tipped and $166 is a good collect in my opinion.

You're not wrong. Talk about exciting this afternoon with Canberra coming from behind to level in the last minute and then win in extra time to get my multi home!!! Phew.

yeh I'm a newbie(well if one month is still considered a newbie, not sure), I like to take risks.
started betting last month with that sydney/collingwood game, made a topic on it here but it seems to have disappeared. Last week had a huge win(nearly $2000) which covered my losses from the previous weeks. Been placing multi bets, 5+ legs each week...
hmm..Should've listened to my gut. I think I was drunk or something when I put that start with carlton(can't believe they beat kangaroos last week). Didn't win last week cos of them and now this week lol. Would've been a very nice profit.
well atleast one of my multis survived...
1236.50 -220= $1016.50 profit..

Mo, 3 from 3 in AFL and 3 from 5 in NRL.

I'm sure there is a mathematical reason this system continually shows a profit, but since I can't see it,I decided to gamble against it.I do hope I didn't put you off winning.I really was concerned that you were due for a loss, but my concerns obviously caused more harm than good.I shall try to be more careful in future to word things in a different way in future.

You're okay Mo. Believe me, when I looked at the draw, I was worried about the weekend's games as well. But when you follow a system and it's worked out okay in the past, you just go with it.
I was pretty confident about the Swans and the Cowboys (I backed them both outright as well), but I wasn't very confident about the other games. In the end, I bet 2 units on the Swans and the Cowboys and just had the minimum 1 unit bet on the rest. I honestly thought I might only get 2 or 3 out of 8, so to get 6 was unexpected and BRILLIANT.
As for the reason it seems to work, who knows? But I prefer to back teams playing at home and I also prefer to back teams receiving a start. This combines both.
