Alinghi in a canter...has been flying in trials and in work...Shes a big girl but they've got her bursting at the seems and she'll only get better..

Well it's an absolute race in two. Huge effort by Tahni Girl with massive weight last start and trainer has huge wraps on her. But Alinghi is all class and will be very hard to hold out with her blistering finish. Might back the box exacta although it will be awfully short.

As I am A Vietnam Veteran myself(hence my user name as a dig at the yanks,and '68 being the year I was in that hell hole)I feel obliged to tip in this race.IMO Tahni Girl is an e/w special at 4.80.Huge run first up,and has the advantage on Alinghi fitness wise.Dawn Almighty is my omen roughie,as every day in that place we prayed to see the dawn next day.

No, I didn't get in country until August of 1969. I would never have fought Aussies..I would have begged them for drinking and handicapping lessons. HA. Somehow, nevertheless, I have managed to evolve in my drinking. The handicapping I'm still working on. Have a great Saturday. Friday night for me, gambling in Oz and some Canadian whiskey.....Life is as good as it gets.
