According to the latest poll, Labor would have had "a clear victory" if the elections were held on Friday 27 August.
Yet on Betfair, the Liberals can be laid at $1.60 and Labor backed at $2.58. If the polling is correct, the Betfair market seems most inaccurate. Maybe a good trading opportunity exists?

Feel free to have a bet, but I reckon they've got it about right. I don't care what the polls say. I fully expect 'Honest John' to use every trick in the book and get back in.

I would not be surprised if H.J does get re-elected. However, the odds on offer with Betfair indicates a "lay down mazaire" which I doubt will happen. I think the Libs will ease in the betting, but who knows...
