Noticed good value at the moment with shops like Centrebet that offer odds on human sports like footy cricket etc. I feel more comfortable at the moment punting on Footy players than horses. I feel they are are far easier to predict and more reliable to sustained good form. Any thoughts from anyone. I favour all ups and having a good run now that the footy finals are approaching
This is of course betting with my head rather than my heart!!

Betting on footy can be profitable.
It hasn't been around that long and the punters aren't as well educated as gallops punters (even though most of them aren't all that good!).

Another good weekend. Could see that Crawford of the hawks would be under the pump from libba all day so bet against him in the total possessions bets. Another winner. Humans are predictable.

Don't disagree with you Franga but how predictable was Sydney with everything to play for getting well beaten by Melbourne?

PS I have to add and in Sydney as well!

Spot on again Mr Logic but that is exactly my point. Dont bet on the team plays bet the individual player against player. It is safer. I would always prefer to bet on a two horse race rather than a Melbourne cup field which I think you are when you are trying to predict the outcome of a game involving 18 or more palyers in each team.
I will always look at three good combos in the individual player possessions ie one against one and then all up them to a reasonable divi. So far so good.
Ps Have to disagree about Sydney. They were without their champ kelly and the dees probably had their best team for the year in.
