Is Anasta out and is Sherwin in doubt ??
i think if they are both fit they could be beat the Storm...

Sherwin should be okay to play

The coach said on sunday that anasta would be at long odds to play, so i'd say he wont be there

Late mail from the bulldogs last night is ANASTA will play, if he does he couldnt be 100% so if i was the storm i would target him and sherwin allnight and smash.

Could be dangerous Goldmember when you target certain players like that. Just means thier awesome centres and wingers have more room..and i think with the fact that they are both carrying injuries will mean they might spread the ball more.
Its just Sherwins kicking game thats the worry.
I think the buldogs will win fairly easily..i also think the broncos will win as well. There's just way to much pressure on the Cowboys...they will try to hard and the old heads of the Brisbane side will see out the first 20 mins and then take over the game.
Bulldogs 12+
Broncos 12+
i got 10/1 on sportsbet for this combo.

Mav, normally i would agree with you,but he is injured and IF he plays he WONT be a 100% and could be a liability, i'd thow in thurstans at 5/8 in his place and the broncos are looking real ragged in the forwards and pretty slow, like a car running on empty, limping to the servo, can they make it ?

Goldmember..in these big matches I think expereince gets you through...you can name a hundred players that are only half fit who force themselves to play these big matches..
I'm not a bronco's fan or a Dogs fan.....quite the opposite but i think class prevails..
Lockyer will control..and Sherwin will be on the ball with his kicking....simple game this footy

Up the mighty cowboys...how about this for defying stats:
1. The broncos haven't been kept scoreless since 2001
2. This is only the 3rd time this year that the Broncos have lost away from home
3. This is the first time the cowboys have EVER beaten the broncos
can't see them repeating there preformance against the roosters though...

Go the Cowboys!!! The place is buzzing up here in Nth Queensland. You're right. It will be damn tough to beat the Roosters, but this side is only getting better.

They are flying the cowboys, great to see one Brisbane team is beatable.
Momentum is a huge factor in any type of footy. Back the cowboys at the ridiculus odds that will be on offer next week!!

I don't think any team could play any worse than the broncos and the cowboys only scored the one try when the chaser was a mile offside.
The broncos were awefull ..Tallis the most overatted player ever to put on footy boots was non existant. Webke gave his usual 200% but had to do the defensive work for bludgers like tallis and carlaw..
Lockyer behind a pack that didnt go forward tried but had no room and bad service from a hopeless dummyhalf and fillin halfback.
Tonie carrol has to realise sure he can smash people in defense but he still has to do a hit up once in a while.
But the Cowboys were awesome in defense they were so commited and they deserved the victory.
What was i thinking backing the broncos ...first and last time ever. hopeless bunch of overpaid shielas.

Huh? What were you watching Mav? That's not your wallet talking, is it? From the camera angle that they had, they certainly couldn't call him offside.

Personally, my system worked again with two bets this week, Cowboys (+3.5) and Geelong (+30.5). I really have absolutely no idea why the Broncos were favourites last night.

Hang on, yes I do no why they were favourites. Because the bookies totally over-rate the Broncos, just like most of the so called 'experts'.

I think anyone whos played footy and anyone who has watched enough racing finshes with weird camera angles could tell he was atleast 2feet offside.
imagine if it was a broncos try,,i somehow doubt it would of been awarded.
nothing to do with my pocket Sporty i only lost $20 i'm still getting the hang of this sportsbetting. still finding it tough to find any value in it but i'm still looking

Must disagree. If Myles was in front of him it was extremely marginal and not enough to call offside. You must remember, they usually go with the attacking side these days. Unless someone is blatantly and obviously offside they usually let it pass.
Anyway, as you said, the Broncos were pretty inept. The Cowboys defence was good but they're going to face a MUCH bigger challenge next week.

Agree Sportz,I reckon you,ll get close to 5/2 or $3.50 at least the cowboys with the Roosters around $1.20,Broncos have been ordinary, you must remember that Souths (my God not Souths )nearly beat the broncos
cheers

Myles WAS a little in front of the kicker and Hunt got a bad bounce, but the cowboys were at least a 20 pt better side, after watching last weeks games i had the cowboys at $1.65 and the broncos at $2.25, so i HAD to take the $2.60 on offer, those "public teams" like the roosters, bulldogs and broncos are always going to be unders anyway, i think the bookies are scared to put up their REAL prices in case they get a flood of money for them.

Sportz, that was my EMPTY POCKETS from last week talking, seeking revenge but it didnt happen, never had a bet today, got the money last night and sat back and watched the races and game today, its starting to get a bit thin, only one game to watch, so i'll have to tape the race tonight and study for the rest of the carnival

My two quinellas are looking okay (Roosters/Bulldogs and Roosters/Panthers), because I don't honestly think the Cowboys can win next week.
Still can't believe NQ is in the final four!
