H2H Aussie $1.33
Kiwi's $3.10

Whats the go ?

The go is that I reckon that's a bit too short on the Aussies and a bit too long on the Kiwis. Anyway, Australia won the toss and sent NZ in. Better be something in the pitch because I really prefer us to be batting first if possible.

Sportz,

That was the NZTAB. The radio tells me we are 2 down already....best I turn on SKY and cry in me beer.

Cheers

Yeah. 2-42 now.

My comment about the odds was based on it being a pretty good batting track. Looks like the conditions might be okay for bowling though.

Don't these sides have long batting lineups? Australia have Watson at 8 and NZ have Harris at 9!!! Kasper and Vettori are no bunnies either.

$1.33 ? i backed them at $1.42, thought it was better than bank interest, but wont back them in the semis cause the'll be too short, probably around $1.20

Yeah mate,

They'll be pretty hot after they monstered us.

$1.42 was a bit more like it. Hard to believe, but I think the Australian team has actually improved with the inclusion of Kasper and the return of Watson. Now, if only they have the sense to leave Brett Lee out of the team, they can go on with it.

At least the've drawn the easy semi, see there's a few vacant days coming up and the finals not on until saturday week

Sportz, i shop around for the best price[only have 3 different accounts]2 of them had $1.42, but SPORTSTAB had them @ $1.35 -$1.30, i stay away from them on H2H most times and back their different options ,which a lot of times ARE BETTER than the others.

Poms have the advantage of bowling first tonight. Will be tough for the Aussies.

i dont think bowling first is an advantage

Not usually, but these games are starting pretty early over there and the conditions have been favouring bowlers so far in the tournament. I think just about every single captain has sent the opposition in.

looks like Gough's put on a few kilos ....I remember one year when he was out here he worked his guts out and had about 500 catches dropped off his bowling .I did alright that series they were offering silly odds that year I picked up the draw in brisbane(the gabba got flooded) and the win in melbourne they were paying 8 or 9 dollars

"Whats the go ?"

No sportz, the go is that at $1.33 and $3.10 the house cut is probally so large there's no value at all

IF there is ANY value, it'd be on the kiwi's. But they'd need at least a 34% chance to justify a bet on them.

"house cut is probally so large there's no value at all"

I meant to say that the house cut IS so large that there is PROBALLY no value at all.

Mr J, the best value was on England to win the whole tournament.

Personally, I got $8 and I know that Mav got $9. I rated them about a $4 chance. Now we can just wait to see who their final opponents are and save on them.

Still think England are hopeless Chuck?

England batted well. Lee is crap and needs to be dropped for good . Very poor performance by the aussies.

Told ya.

I have no idea why they continue to pick him. He simply concedes FAR too many runs. I haven't actually seen the scorecard yet, but I'm guessing it was the same last night. Eventually the selectors may learn but I'm not holding my breath. They're obviously still rating him on how he was bowling before the injury.

Why didn't you back the West Indies as well? At the price they were yesterday, it was easy to back both teams and have a win.

No matter what the competition, if I've backed a team that makes the final, I always back their opponents as well. Cuts down on the profits if your original selection wins, but it also cuts down on the losses if they don't!
