Here`s a plan that picks heaps of winners.
But patience & disciplin is required.
1)Follow either the Pre-post Fav or the TAB Fav .
2)Wait for a Fav to get up before one starts betting bet ,once the next fav wins for that venue, stop betting on that venue for the rest of the day.
3)Do the same proceedure for all venues.
This system is making the presumption most venues get 2 favs up out of say 8 races, this equals 25% the average is 30% ,the question is ,which races to bet on .
The answer is the next one, once a winner has been established.
Sometimes no favs get up at all at a venue, thats fine by us because we were not on any of them.
Sometimes only one Fav gets up all day ,but that could be in the last half of the day ,so no real damage done .
You will find that it is very rare that a venue gets one winning Fav only, for the day.
Usually its either non or 2+ winning favs for that venue.
One could bet to price to win say $20.
If you get to race 8 with still no winner ,do not carry losses over to the next day or venue.
It will be rare that you dont strike the winner for each venue for the day.
If you see a odds on horse that it has selected, its best to treat it as a 2/1 shot ,if you are betting to prices.

Looking good, B.
Have tried two venues so far --- and both have "won" already. Geelong POT 160%; Kembla Grange POT 250%
Thanks

Reults Sat18th.Sep
Following TABQ Favs.
18 selections for 9 wins=50%SR
23% POT at level stakes.
Made a lot more if betting to prices.
There were 9 winning venues out of the 10 targeted.
Gold Coast failed to show a second winning Fav . It only had 3 outs.
With this method ,it`s best to target venues where there are at least 7 races.
So if a venue has 6 or less races ,no betting for that particulart venue.

Very strange day with lots of outsiders getting up all day with many Favs not even getting a place.
Severeal venues didn`t have one Fav get up all day. That`s all right because we weren`t on any of them
9 bets for 5 wins=56%

Betting level stakes.

I would recomend to stop betting at a venue once you strike 3-4 losses in a row.

Looks like a great idea so far Bhagwan. It certainly seems to be one way of increasing the strike rate of favs. I like the fact that on those days when every fav loses, you're not on any of them. A bit worried if I use it, the wheels may fall off though.

Bhagwan,
Many thanks for your latest system & all your contributions on the forum.
I have understood all your results up to yesterday as you have listed them.
By my reckoning yesterday was unfortunately
1 from 9
ie SALE - 4 units (after fav won 1st)
ROSEHILL - 1 unit (after fav won 6th)
TOWNSVILLE - 0.8 units (fav wins 2nd & then wins 6th paying $3.2
Please clarify.
Could you also explain rule 3 ie betting to a price to win $20 & with the results thus far would this have been the better option than level stakes betting.
Thanks again & hopefully this system gets back on track again today
If you would rather talk off forum I can be reached at peakester@hotkey.net.au

Hi Peakeaster,
That 1st race at sale had duel Favs so I ignored the race.
I forgot to mention that we are trying to find the clear cut Fav.
It`s best to ignore the race , if there are 2 with the same price ,this is very rare but it does happen.
Betting to price is where we divide the div into the takeout figure e.g.$3.00 into $20=$7
As stated before ,it`s best to stop betting at a particular venue if one encounters 3-4 outs in a row.

You can see that backing TAB favs is a hard grind & the mantra on this site is to seek value.
How do we get some value out of this approach I hear you sqweel.
What we will do over the next few days is to follow a Tipsters 1st selection instead of the TAB fav.
You will see that the average price will be much better, with the same strike rate.
RULES
1)For the exercise we will follow the RadioTABQ 1st selection ,these guys have a approx 25% SR.
You could use any tipster you fancy.
You may prefer to follow a tipsters 2nd selection instead of his 1st selection, so as to instill higher priced horses & chance a lower SR
2)Wait for their 1st selection to get up , before we start betting that venue, then stop betting once the next selection wins for us at that venue .
Now ,do the same for all the other venues for the day.
3)Stop betting if one strikes 4 outs in a row for that venue.
What you will find is they will usually have 2 or more wins at that venue or non at all.
Very rare that they only have 1 winner for the day & if they do ,we would only be on a maximum of 4 looses before we stop betting at that venue.

POT +35%
On this day, a number of 2nd TABQ selections got up at good prices so the idea of targeting those would have also worked.
As suggested before ,its best to only target venues with 7+ races.
So ,if the a venue has 6 or less races, no bet that venue.

Hey guys,
I'm thinking of using this system a go tomorrow, do you just go for the win bet? Anyone got any advice for more succesful selections or SR's?
Cheers

This plan is still standing up.
Check it out .
Remember to stop betting at the targeted venue once the 2nd (which is our 1st bet) Fav gets up or we encounter 4 outs in a row at that venue.
Level stakes betting.

I thought I would re-introduce this interesting plan which is still performing well at level stakes.
With no form study.
Best using Betfair Fav & prices.
Their prices are far superior to the TABs.
To repeat the rules.
.Wait for a Fav to win before we commence betting the Fav for that venue at level stakes for a max of 4 races only for that venue.
.Stop betting once we have struck a winner at that venue within 4 bets.
.If we strike 4 losers in a row at that venue, no more betting at that venue for the day.
.Now do the same for all the other venues, 7 days a week .
Cheers.
