Without a doubt pinnaclesports.com

I place at least 40% of my bets there.

Great customer service, great banking, great limits, great lines. A massive and extremely well funded book. I feel more comfortable having my money there than in a bank. One of the few books where players money is practically as safe as at an aussie book.

Their lines are always up there with the best, if not THE best. Offer a large variety of bets (including AFL, NRL, super 12s).

Average price is at -105 (same as $1.95). Most books have -110 ($1.91). The TAB has
-117 ($1.85- horrible, worse than putting money in the pokies).

If you want to stay in Australia there are bookies that offer bets at $1.90. If you want to bet on the horses, or smaller local sports (soccer, NBL) you really need to use an aussie book.

betfair or betdaq for me, only problem sometimes is liquidity for certains sports but you can get a bet on almost anything...

Little titbit of info for you who use pinnacle? do u knwo why sometimes their odds seem so good? i have it on good authority that the guy who owms it himself is a huge punter in vegas etc, and he sometimes uses his company to make up against some of his bets. And if he really fancied a certain team he will actually push out the odds against the other team. Not every time of course, but it is one of the reasons why their odds are sometimes better...

That's actually rubbish. The main reason their lines are better is because they operate with a lower house edge that pretty much every other bookie.

Most bookies book coinflips at $1.91 ($1.85 for TABs). Pinnacle gives $1.952.

Pinny does take positions, but not because the 'owner' likes a certain team. The book is just very sharp. Your money is safer at pinnacle than in an aussie bank account.
