SPRING CARNIVAL TIPPING COMP (Sept 24/25)

Comp Rules:

$50 worth of bets each week. Win bets only, but you can back more than 1 horse per race. You can either have five $10 races, or three $10 races and one $20 race. Money from scratchings to be carried over and bet the following week. Unitab dividends used for results. Everyone is allowed to miss one week of the comp without incurring a penalty. After that you lose $50 for every raceday you miss. There will be a feature race each week that everyone must tip in.

This week:

Because there's no Melbourne races this Saturday, I think this week we should allow tips for Friday night's Moonee Valley meeting as well as Saturday's races. No other Friday meetings though. This week's feature race is the GEORGE MAIN STAKES.

Sorry Sportz, but i had $10 on Grand Armee which should put me at $-19.

I know it must be tough but you and Shaun are doing a great job, keep it up.

Although i would take that back if it meant my mighty Panthers would have got up tonight, i have never felt the loss of a preliminary final before but it hurts almost more then a Grand Final loss which i felt in 1990 at the age of 10.

to be honest sports...Oscar worrior is one of those horses that wins 2 in a row if you look at it's carrer you can see this clearly.....i backed it in brisbane last year when it won and paid $65 then backed it again a week later paying $15 it is one of my black book horses

I guess you can do it that way if you wish. Just make sure you explain very clearly which one you are tipping. And remember to tip a horse in the feature race of the week.
