Middlesborugh.... a bit short should win but portsmouth have got a few players back ....well i wont be sticking my nose in there anyway
I like Bolton at a bit of odds but then again Im cheerin for em this year so I dont know if you call it a selection but I do think they can give spurs a shake at odds

Knowledge,
You obviously know a fair bit about Soccer and I have followed a couple of your selections (particularly Champions League & UEFA Cup).
But I think you need to ease up on people who have made selections opposite to yours or ones you don't agree with. By all means justify your reasoning but your comments are a bit harsh (eg, wtf or "your wrong already" both directed at faroutfantasies "FOF")
Plus your not done yet. Still a chance.
Hopefully a goalless 2nd half

that's ok, I was with you on the last bet as well. That was just a small interest bet.
But I think you should stick to your guns on the next one.
I'm a Spurs fan and I can't see more than 2 goals going in. And I've had a very lucky day on the horses so hang in there.
Or are you just doing you jinx thing again?
it worked last time.

no I mean I've already backed under 2.5 goals heavily. and I'm feeling unlucky so I believe you should all back OVER 2.5 goals.
just when everything is going well, that's when things are going to start going bad.

have faith, from here your overall handicapping looks sound.
With my Horse Betting I use a progressive stake and had a run of 5 outs until the last 2 bets today at $1.95 (happy to end the outs) then the big one at $7.50. Just stick to your guns.
I also use a similar Staking PLan on my Sportsbetting. Was on a run of 6 in a row until the current match, the only reason I backed it was I was at the start of the cycle. (stupid really)

well west ham are 3-1 up at half time. Don't look like losing from here.
Tottenham equalised through a Robbie Keane shot through the keepers' legs. 1-1 at half time.
what do you want to happen, Northerly? over 2.5 goals?

Its too late one of us or both of us has to lose 1-1 I havent backed em under over Ive just got bolton in a double with liverpool....
I just decided to cheer em on this year its the underdog thing Ill take em with a banker each week for 6 dollars and see how it goes ill probably jag a few along the way I didnt even back em last week they were too short I dont have any team in particular i just like to see good teams play good football

i'm almost positive we'll see another goal. Bolton looks more likely to score it as well, in my opinion.

oh, yeh.. I see now. Me too, it's just not the right day for low scoring I guess. After watching so many low-scoring affairs I thought I could make some money off of the boredom. It backfires though.
Oh well, still we aren't losing yet! 37 mins left but it's possible.
On betfair under 2.5 is available for $3.20 and over is for $1.42.
Hopefully the over price gradually rises and rises....

24th October 2004, 12:31 AM
the "favourite" is now under 2.5 goals.
I'm watching this game and I have to say it looks like it'll end this way. Both teams just need to avoid any lapse in concentration, Okocha almost set up a goal then but due to the wet surface the ball skidded past. Terrible conditions so very hard to manage a clean shot unless in a goalmouth scramble, scrambles don't seem to be happening in this game so I say we don't look so bad now. I may be wrong though.
substitution: Defoe coming on. Hopefully he can't do anything productive (like most games). Good player though, Tottenham don't seem to be able to give sufficient service to their forwards. Redknapp isn't playing too well.

Floydyboy, by the looks of all those posts, you haven't even gone to bed.
With the EPL this week, I just had a simple double on Chelsea & Liverpool and smaller bets on Aston Villa and Everton. I think I'll stay away from the big game tonight. Might have a small double on Middlesbrough & Newcastle though.

By the look of it Sportz you had a good night.
I went to bed after the Spurs game not as keen as Floydy.
I did have a multi on Chel/Liv/Juve at $3.23, to finish just in front for the night.
And Floydy, I can actually bet online with BF and don't have to ring up. Can't explain it but I have 3 accounts with them and one of them has seemed to slip thru the net. Occasionally it stops me but all I do is log off and back on again and Bob's your uncle I can bet "In-Play" again.
Has been extremely handy since my discovery, last night was a perfect example. And so close to getting that bewt on Chelsea. Oh well.

Strange that... well good on ya ........I rang up and had a bet in play last night Its a good feeling laying off knowing you cant lose ......I layed the australians(cricket) at1.30 to win the series then during the second test i backed em to win at about 1.70 so now if they win I win 3 or if they lose or draw I win 50 ....win win i like
Northerly
24th October 2004, 08:08 PM
that's the best way to trade.
I lay EVERY Test Match for the Draw, as long as the weather forecast doesn't have rain. I've only done this on 5 tests and only 1 has ended in a draw (2nd Test Ind v Aus) and I had covered myself on that one anyway after the 4th day. All of them have started favourite (eg, 3rd Test Ind v Aus $2.16) and it only takes 1 good day for either team for the Draw to drift allowing you to back it for a guareteed profit.

well on betfair $298,000 out of $312,000 matched on Freiburg v Stuttgart has been put on Stuttgart. Everyone is tipping them to win. I'm confident.
Odds are good too, I suggest you all to back them.

I just checked out my account for the last three months and if I'd left the exotics and europe alone Id be miles in front
