Split Times

Can anyone help me to understand how to work this out.
Dog one has a time split of 5.61
This dog has the fastest split time, but by looking at the time its the slowest.
Im referring to the split times found on the GRV form guides.

Are split times taken at the same point at all tracks??
And at what distance is this split taken...
Can anyone help me with this info.

I have been trying to find that same info myself. I did try and time the dogs and see where that 5.9 was on the track. But angles were too hard. And I had nothing to measure it against.
