<font color=black><font face="verdana"><font size=2>I like a challenge and I'm going to try this. Bear with me, I'll bet on short odds a lot of the time.

Bet 1
$10 - Marat Safin ($1.24) to beat Jurgen Melzer.
Return:$12.40

I think its the way to go be a bit more selective even if short
Im into my third leg of a five leg all up
My first 2 got up
Werder and Lyon my next bet will probably be on arsenal on the weekend or even a doule with somebody (which will count as 2 legs)Im trying not to bet under 1.40 but will go into the 1.30s minimum
My first five leg multi went down the toilet last weekend but then again whos didnt lol
ANyway Good Luck

You going to bet the whole BR on each play or a fraction?

Mr J

BTW, (not sure if you are aware of this, I'd guess you are) there are plenty of these sorts of things at the bookiebuster forums. They call them stready drips. They usually aim to grow 1000% though, not 10000%.

Floydyboy

no mr j 20% .My Idea is to start with 100 bank and bet one fifth (min 20)on the whole multi (5 legs max)trying not to be greedy or bet on everything that moves I know there may be more value going round but Im sticking with the soccer(maybe ill look at something else)but mainly soccer . I think if im selective maybe i can get a few up the prices im look at will return me $5.00+ for the multi which equates to my whole bank

I was wondering what % knowledge was betting.

$100 into $1000 is a lot more reasonable though.

The bad thing about this style of betting is that anyone who does is is probally overbetting.

Knowledge and Floydy
How about this for an idea
$1000 bank, bet 10% each time at $1.40
I figure it will take 18 winning bets to double your money
If you do this when the AFL/Rugby League Season is on you find two games per weekend
There are 8 AFL Games and 7 Rugby League Games, all you need is two games picking the start at $1.40 for each of your selections
Now if you are worried about where to get $1000 for this purpose, chuck $7 in a bucket each day for the next 4.5 months, its like three or four beers or two bourbons or whatever
I have done the calculations for 9 weeks and your bank would already of doubled but you have to be realistic and think that not every selection will win but a lot of them will
Say Port at home playing some lowly team for instance. There are standout winners every round.I think soccer has too many problems the main one being trying to pick winners at decent odds, and avoiding draws.AFL and Rugby League get very few draws
Something to thinkabout
I will try it next season and I,m pretty confident of a good profit
Cheers

Thats alright I can get me hands on a grand ...... I think 1.40 is an ok price to work with specially when youve got roll your owns to play with... im still feeling my way with this sports punting caper ... I think what ya say is a reasonable challenge
