Ashes TV coverage faces axe
By Chloe Saltau
November 9, 2004
For the first time in more than 30 years, Australian cricket fans are likely to be denied free television coverage of an Ashes series. The Seven and Nine networks have both indicated they are unlikely to broadcast next year's highly anticipated series in England, leaving only pay TV coverage on Fox Sports.

Actually, I think it is good news. Fox's coverage of sporting events is superior to all the free to air stations. Thumbs up from me.

Just tough for those people that don't have Pay TV.
Well, the Commercial channels did a shocking job anyway, missing heaps of the action or showing it on delay, so I hardly ever watched it. You can't beat ABC Radio!!!

Yep pay TV is great. Really enjoy the coverage and the ammount of ads  But for the people without pay T.V it is frustrating for them. Because people in high places cant do the right job.
