Federer and Safin should win quite comfortably - Gaudio is horribly out of form and Coria has not played a match in months. If your bookie gives you the option of set betting I would take those two to win in straight sets.

I also think Hewitt will win, but he has struggled against Moya in the past. Moya is another player who hasn't played in a while so that makes me lean towards Hewitt.

The Roddick v Henman match I am leaving well alone. Henman leads the head to head 3-1, but he has been horrible recently. Roddick will more than likely win this match, but it will probably be tight.

I am having a multi of

Federer v Gaudio(Straight Sets) - $1.20
Safin v Coria (Straight Sets) - $1.30
Hewitt v Moya - $1.30
= $2.02

I also like Safin to win the title, but I will only be having a small wager on that one!!

Well I've placed a double bet for Hewitt-Federer to win at short odds ($1.30) and if that doesn't win I don't know what will!

also think Williams will have too much for Maria.

well Roger and Lleyton didn't disappoint. but now the 2 play against each other and there's no freakin away Lleyton can win. $1.22 for Federer is a good price considering how safe he is. 21-3 is his record this season. Played Hewitt completely off the court last time they met.

Moya played better than expected against Hewitt and Gaudio is a shadow of Carlos. $1.35 for Moya is pretty good I say.

Double price: $1.63
I'll take it.

I agree with you about Federer. He is the dominant player right now and Hewitt's style right now does not match up at all well as we have seen the last few times they have met. How come you can only get $1.22 about Federer, most places have him $1.28 or more.

I am not very confident when it comes to Moya though. He had a real tough match against Hewitt that spanned two days and right now Moya is just a one trick pony with his forehand. Moya's backhand is absolutely terrible and will more than likely be exposed by Gaudio who is the owner of one of the best backhands in the world. I still think Moya will probably jag the win, but I dont think the $1.35 is very good value.

If anyone isn't fully sold on Federer here are a few stats.

Federer has won all 4 matches against Hewitt this year. In these matches they have played 13 sets of which Federer has won 11 of them. 5 of the 11 sets Federer has won 6-0. In the 13 sets they have played 112 games and Federer has won 77 compared to Hewitt's 35.

I think I may just have to back Federer to win in striaght sets at $1.70!!

sparkus you have proven to be a good source of information when it comes to tennis betting.

tonight I like Roddick and..... henman.. even though henman is f*cking sh*t and i hate him for being so over-rated i have to back him tonight. I think Roddick will beat Safin too. Andy is generally more reliable than Marat.

will stick to the double of federer-henman though.. definitely not a sure thing though, maybe i'll get lucky

I am not too high on either of the matches tonight!

Henman played great against Roddick a couple of days ago, but that was the first time in a while that he has played well. Coria was simply overmatched by Safin's power game, but I think he might fare better against Henman because Timbo will be constantly giving him a target. You would think Henman should win this match as Coria is just coming back after injury, but the $1.25-$1.30 being offered about Henman is too short for me.

The Roddick v Safin match should be a ripper, the last time they played it went three sets and all of them went to a tie breaker, so going for the 7-6 1st set score is the logical option - who to choose though??

I am leaning towards Safin mainly because he is in form and is one of the few guys who can match Roddick's power game. I am only going to have a small wager on him though because I figure there will probably be tie breaks and those things are a lottery.

If you have Foxsports you are set because they are showing all of the matches live.

If not go to http://www.masters-cup.com and there is a link there for live scores.

If you want to steal some of the bookies cash get on Roger Federer tonight. Most bookies have him at $1.22 which I think is a great price considering Hewitt has not come close to him all year.

The match is best of 5 sets and I like Federer at $2 to win in straight sets(3-0). You may want to cover yourself with a result of 3-1($3.40-$3.50) just in case Hewitt jags a set.

Yep, I backed Federer yesterday. Even at $1.22 he was still GREAT value. A total certainty. I assume they changed it from a 5 set match to 3 sets because of the rain?

sparkus8

Yeh they changed it because of the rain. Probably cost me a bit of money as well because I had a nice little wager on Federer to win 3-0!! Thems the breaks.
