Hey Knowledge, the rules you have in the other thread dont say anything about a minimum bet. I know it was discussed, but you must have forgot to put it in there when you put the rules up.

Must be pretty damn confident Justin Langer's going to have a good one!!!

Chuck
24th November 2004, 08:13 PM
thats right...i've got a lot riding on his performance...just keep remembering him firing against the kiwis in 2001...turn him from an in-out player to a permanent player for years to come...i base many of my cricket bets on previous results, found at: http://stats.rleague.com/tc/lists/results.html - which has the results of every test ever played
e.g - http://stats.rleague.com/tc/scorecards/1573.html shows the results of the last AUSvNZ match at the WACA, and these results often lead to repeat performances!

god damn it
less than 30 seconds left and my under 200.5 points bet loses. steven black also performed sh-t so I only have $5 now

You've got your whole commp riding chelsea now Knowl!!

sportznut
25th November 2004, 11:37 AM
So much for that huh, Knowledge? Bad luck.

Anyway, if you're wondering why I didn't join the comp, it's because I don't really think it suits my style of betting. I'm sure it will be won by somebody having BIG bets or landing some extravagant multi and that's just not my style. I prefer a slow, steady, cautious style of punting. If I had been in the comp, I would have had the following bets: $5 @ $1.85 Scotland(+21.5) vs Aus R.U, $5 @ $1.85 Wales(+15.5) vs NZ R.U, $5 @ $1.65 England vs S.Af R.U and $15 @ $1.22 Federer vs Hewitt. 4 bets for 4 winners but I would still be a fair way behind the leader. So that's why I wasn't really worried about joining the comp.

can anybody let me borrow money plz. im broke.

im the first to be eliminated. I hate NBL so much now.

My tips for fun so if ya got the cash trust me on this one

RL
GB/GB $4 x $10 = $40
most tries Carney v (Rooney) $3 X $10 = $30
Aus try $2.15 x $10 = $21.50
Cost $30 payout $91.50

I just need $30,ill pay ya back. Can I get a loan anybody

Them's the rules. I guess you should have been more careful with the $50.

Jack Daniels
26th November 2004, 04:11 PM
Come on the fan you should know better than to borrow money to bet with. Thats a big no no. Bet with your head not over it.

Besides, the Aussies will beat the Poms in the final of the Tri Nations Competition.

Looks OK to me:

Sienna 2.70
Draw 3.05
Roma 2.45

Soccer Extra also has Correct Score and Total Goals.

Looks fine to me still open too.

Because you didn't say anything at all about how much you were betting, I had pretty much assumed you were betting the whole lot.

I put a bet in the $50 bet thread yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared????

It was only a little one of $15 on Chelsea at $1.52 and it won. But seeing as how I can't find it in the thread, I'll just have to go something else.

Never mind that.

It was about time one of my multi's came in. (in reference to the $50 bet thread). The good thing about the following multi is that along with those three bets I added 4 tennis bets to my multi to beef it up a bit in reality!!!!

This is what I ended up with:

(B. PHAU $1.70) Vs I. Kunitsyn
x
(H.T. LEE $1.35) Vs G. Elseneer
x
(A. SEPPI $1.42) Vs S. Pescosolido
x
I. Heuberger Vs (M. TABARA $1.57)
x
(MAN U $1.95) Vs Arsenal
x
Tottenham Vs Liverpool (Draw $3.30)
x
(ATHLETIC BILBOA $1.40) Vs Steaua Bucharest

= $46.09 x $20.00 = $921.80

I Just wish I had put a hundred on it. Doh.

Always the way though. You get a good one up and say, why didn't I put the house on it. Because hindsight is a lovely thing.

:D
