The brawl between the Pacers and Pistons + fans on the weekend resulted in these suspensions today :

INDIANA PACERS
R Artest - rest of the season
S Jackson - 30 games
J O'Neal - 25 games
A Johnson - 5 games
R Miller - 1 game

DETROIT PISTONS
B Wallace - 6 games
E Campbell - 1 game
D Coleman - 1 game

It will make it very hard for them this year now with Ron Artest out, their leading player, looks like Reggie Miller will have to carrying them NOW,they nearly pulled off an upset the next day against Orlando without those players [ i had something on them at $3.50] and they led by 1 pt until the last 12 seconds, with Orlando shooting 4 free throws. OUCH !

Gday there goldmember. I c u play the NBA my good betting friend. I do as well and I think we should be putting our thoughts on this page on a daily basis. I have a habit of betting the money line, which as u know is risky as hell but i have been experimenting with the line. If u r keen get back to me here or we could start emailing each other if it seems no one else at this forum is interested. Look forward to your reply...Happy and productive punting to u goldmember! : )

P.S Oh yeah im keen as to keep posting each round of the NBL.

Washington v's Toronto 11.05am

Toronto to win @ $2.20

Charlotte v's Detroit 11.05am

Detroit get back 3 of their 4 suspended players but are pretty short at $1.33 as they are 1-3 on the road, and while charlotte have lost their last 7 games they have gone close 3 times getting beaten by 2 pts or less and are 1-4 at home.
Charlotte +6.5 @ $1.90

Minnisota v's Seattle 12.05pm

Think seattle will go close +6.5 @ $1.91
also over 191.5 pts @ $1.90

Sacramento v's Houston 2.05pm

Scaramento have won their last 10 home games against houston, sacramento to win @ $1.37
also under 186.5pts @ $1.90

LA Lakers v's Milwaukee 2.35pm

The lakers should win at home [4-1 this season]while Milwaukee are [0-4 away]
Lakers win ** @ $1.40

Hey Goldmember,

I used to bet on the NBA a bit, but I hadn't had a bet so far this year. Your post today raised my interest again and I decided to back the Lakers and Sacramento.

Toronto were dissapointing against Washington 102-86 [ .ricks ]

Charlotte lead by 19 pts at the last change and hung on to win by 2, 91-89 [thank god]

Seattle outclassed Minnisota 103-92 [you little beauty!]

Sacramento had to fight all the way against Houston , finally winning 102-96 [phew]

LA Lakers also had a scrap against Milwaukee until the dying seconds, winning 100-96 [phew]

Not a bad day on the punt even allowing for Toronto's loss

Portland 99 - miami 87, didnt have a tip in this one as miami @ $1.28 at home had lost their last 4 to portland and only won 3/19 at miami against them [ come to think of that, should have backed portland. DOH !]

New York 104- Atlanta 88 , didnt bother with this one as New York were at $1.15[ only had them in 1 multi as bank interest]

Indiana 106 -Boston 96, an upset with out their stars, shoulda stuck ?

Denver 90- New Jersey 88, -no interest in that one.

New Orleans 97 - Golden State 94 ,an upset in O/T, NO INTEREST IN THE battle of the non - winners.

97 -97 going to double o/t

YEP sportz, they looked anchors along with NewYork but they were too short to tip, so i left them out

Had a decent bet also on that double, i got $1.91 on sport odds, but only $1.72 at sportstab, big difference there

Would have tipped Seattle to win, as they are my team, they won 9 straight until their last game loss, but the $3.20 had me worried a bit, so i couldnt resist the + 6.5, so i went that way instead.
And Charlotte have pushed a couple of decent teams lately giving teams that i've backed against them a real fright , couldnt pass up the + 6.5 at home against a dissapointing Detroit.

How long have u followed the NBA for? Its a tough nut to work sometimes especially when u take shorties in mult bets like me....Look forward to your posts!

Pablow , i dont bet everyday, plus when there's only 2 or 3 games on i mostly pass them up unless theres a decent bet for me to put on, i will have them by 9.00am, if i'm here , i've only followed them closely for 3 years now, only having a small interest before that
