:p what's this all about? It says everyone joined in Jan 1970. Must be an error in the new format.

I suspect that I will end up changing the date to something closer to the present. The actual joining date is rather irrelevent and does not cause any problems if incorrect.
Another glitch -- no permission to view Public Profiles. Actually the ability to view profiles has been deliberately disabled at this time. They should be reactivated soon.

Hi ya Rikki, I like the new forum look and basic functionality.
Although it appears the edit post function is disabled. On purpose or an oversight???
Although it has just appeared as I checked my post, so I guess it is on some sort of a timer.
Will it be enabled permanently? As it does come in handy to update posts with a win or loss.

Will it be enabled permanently? As it does come in handy to update posts with a win or loss. Management have decided to setup the forum environment with the following configuration:
minimum time between posts = 30 seconds
time limit on editing of thread title after creation= 5 minutes
time limit on editing of posts = 30 minutes
time to wait before starting to add 'Edited by...' = 2 minutes
These are not that restrictive and were selected for various reasons.
If you'd like to update a post with further details you can do 1 of 3 things:
submit a new post in the existing thread
use the contact form to request that the additional information you would like added be added
choose not to post the information
Option 1 would probably be the easiest and preferred option. Option 3 is certainly not a choice anyone would like to see happen but nonetheless it is a choice that can be made.
