Heres something I tried yesterday Go to racenet.com.au and look through barrier trial form for the days meeting(they dont have all meetings).Look for horses that have run in the first two or three placings in a recent trial say less than 2-3 weeks then back them for a place
Yesterday at Grafton I had three selections which all placed at $7.80 for third,$2 for second and $2 also for second.I backed the first two only ,but got a good return. All up place ticket on the three horse was $31.20
This like any other system is not fool proof obviously but I 'm gonna follow it
One other thing I've thought about is going all up on various selections.I had 4 winners in a row at various meetings on saturday paying $5.70,$6.10,$9.60 and $5.20 and although I finished in front ,an all up would have paid $1735 for $1.Of course one has to have luck and courage on ones side
Cheers
