As a new observer to both australian racing and to this site - without access to data currently would it be fair to say the average price of winners is greater in melbourne than brisbane ?
a sweeping statement but just a crude observation over recent months
cheers

is it possible to give the percentage of winners below the average e.g. below 8.5/1

Hi Laurie,

Will reply in a few hours when I'm back at my own computer.

Of course there is. $8.50 isn't 8.5/1. It's 7.5/1 (or 15/2). Just like $3.00 is 2/1 and $21.00 is 20/1.

Personally, I'm glad they got rid of the old bookies prices. Decimal prices are much better.

Hi Laurie,

PERCENTAGE OF WINNERS BELOW THE AVERAGE WIN DIVIDEND FOR EACH STATE....

M - 69.45%
S - 71.56%
A - 72.50%
P - 72.19%

Again quite close.
