What the hell was just going on on Betfair that race???? I thoght Super was close to a moral, then a friend told me through a contact that Regal Roller wasn't ready tonight, so I thought that made Super a great betting opportunity. So, after I took 4.50 early, I have watched him drift to 6.0, then 7.8 then finally 9.80 on the jump. WTF???? SOmeone offered 7.0 to lose a bit over 10,000 about one minute out. I have backed it more times and averaged $7.0, but what on earth was going on there???

Money for Jam - I took him at the long odds too, lost a bit back on Secateurs, but overall a nice, if puzzling, betting race!

Well, good to take advantage of those kind of situations. I am about to go and back generals dynasty and quantong. Your thoughts?

My thoughts are that you've backed another winner. What magnificent odds did you get this time???

I wouldn't really think of backing him anywhere but Caulfield anyway.

i took lots of different odds, averaged out at 7.05
I agree with you re regal roller caulfield etc, that's why i considered super such a good bet in the first place. NO WAY ross macdonald would have regal ready at MV, when he's TRAINED at caul and loves the joint. Ah well, easy to crow when we win I suppose, easy to be a chump when we don't, though now that general's got up too (and those are the only two races i have bet in so far today) i think i better have another look at the last at MV... will post if you like.

PS - Sportz i wish you'd done race 6 tomorrow for the survey - Lady Sophia very good bet.

I like 14, 7 & 9 in the last race, with 11, 12, 3 & 6 possibilities for the Multis. TOUGH race though!!!
I usually like backing Oliver in the last if he's on a good one. Don't laugh at my Jockey systems. I also like to back Seamer in the last race in Brisbane and that gave me a good result today. :)

Well, unless you want to have a go on the dogs and trots, there's nothing else left.
Personally, I don't mind these Friday night M.Valley meetings. I've done okay tonight. Probably fail badly in the last to bring me back to earth.

Well, no good on the win bets, but I had a small each-way bet on Sapore and a 1/2 unit Any 2 bet including Toheland and Sapore.
