Does anyone know if Domesday is going to run?? I have backed him to win it, however I hear he is going to enter for a 2yo race in Syd on Sat night also!! Why would he skip the Blue Diamond??? Anyone know what they're going to do??

According to Bart Sinclair in the Courier Mail, Hawkes was going to gallop him in Sydney and then make a decision about a switch to Melbourne. This is what he said in the article. "Given Domesday won at Caulfield at his first race start and 2YO form in Melbourne has become quite cloudy, it will be a surprise if Domesday doesn't join stablemate The Rhine in Saturday's race."

Thanks Sportz, that's great b/c on my 2yo figs the only horse in the field to have rated better is Opportunity, by less than half a length.

Did Oppurtunity confirm starting by paying the $55000?

Yes it did.
(Or the connections did. The horse just whinnied and neighed a little)

Bad luck Duritz, but I can't really blame Hawkesy here. Domesday is a genuine Slipper hope.
I expect huge improvement from Bradbury's Luck here. Fired up from an outside gate last start and raced against a severe track bias.

I thought The Rhine ran pretty well last start. I'll be taking the $5.00 fixed i think.

I have been on Perfectly Ready both of his starts so far and sure there may have been a track bias in his win last start but he did also sit 3 and 4 wide for most of the race make no mistake it was an impressive performance.

Oppurtunity by 2-3 lengths easing down. Most promising horse behind snitzel i have seen, and there will be no way they can steal this one of him!
