Got fixed odds on him @ $6.50, but he's now into $2.60. Does anyone else race him a strong chanc?

My favourite horse at the moment, but i can't back him tomorrow at current odds. Its very rare for me to bet below $4.00. Personally I'm on Sportsman at $21.00, but I'm on Toulouse at $34.00 in the Donny.
Well done on the $6.50.

i think TL's a special...but he's way to short...he gets back and theres alot of horses in this race that do the same....can't see any real speed up front ...if the backmarkers get in each others road Serkelt could cause an upset..

TOULOUSE LAUTREC seems poor value at the moment (imo) for a horse that's going to get well back in a big field, and at Rosehill. Having said that I'm sure we can all picture this big striding gelding motoring home down the outside like a proverbial train over the concluding stages. But will he get there?
Agree with brave chief - SPORTSMAN. Looks very good EW value. Goes well this track & distance & should be ready to fire at 3rd start after a spell.

Tolouse Lautrec $6.33
Sportsman $7.04
Kingside $7.04
Utzon $7.92
Gabfest $7.92
Platinum Scissors $10.56
Cash Carter $15.83
Daniel's the Man $21.11
TL's biggest plus is the fact he has more upward potential than these. I assessed him on his current projected peak of 70, although i think he's a 74 horse at least (hopefully in 2 wks!). But a 70 is a fair estimate 2nd up, anything less and he won't be winning. Utzon & Sportsman have been assessed on 68's. Sportsman gets the ticks due to Bowman, 3rd up and inside gate. Kingside is well weighted for a horse with the potential to rate 67.
