THE way things are going will the game become a game for pure athletes only?
Will it truly become aerial ping pong?
Will it become a boys game and never again to be played by men?
Any answers fellow forum writers

Unfortuanately, it's already similar to basketball/soccer. Keepings off untill you get a clear shot and heaps of uncontested footy.
I think calling it soft is a bit harsh though. There's plenty of times when you still have to put your head over the pill, run back into the contest not knowing what's coming, committing yourself when you know you are a huge chance to get cleaned up.
The days of kicking to big packs unless bombing to full forward are however over.

What in your opinion is the difference between a boy and a man?
It seems to me that you are saying boys are quick, athletic and skillfully superior to men.
Just because somebody is quick and skillful, does that make them not a man?
My opinion is that the difference is age, and nothing else.

G'day,
Enjoyed the contest between Scott and that Carlton -oops Saints fella, thankfully neither was penalised.
Overall though it's getting softer each year imo.

Doesn't make it any less of a spectacle though.
Those tiggy touch wood frees are annoying though, even if the umpires are consistent.
