I'm a kangaroos fan but I didnt think much to their chances of winning too many games this year so I have tipped against them both weeks.
Anyone else done similar ?
It makes you feel pretty bad when you tip against your team and they WIN not as bad as Jay Shultz but pretty bad.

p.s sorry my sense of humour is pretty bad

I'd feel FAR worse if I tipped my team and they lost.

I tipped against my team (lions) and the highlight of the night was seeing Mark Williams face when brisbane got within two points.
I tipped Port mainly because it was played down there
Cheers
P.S. I dont think anyone took the Kangaroos this week.

Having lost a substantial sum on the Kangaroos last year,I suggest now is not the time to get on them.
If they get a chance to let you down,THEY WILL!

My observation on the Kangaroos. They tend to start the season VERY well. They usually play above themselves in the first half of the season and post a few good upset wins. Often they're right up near the very top of the table after about 5 or 6 games. Then they tend to drop off the pace a bit in the 2nd half of the season and fall back down the ladder. Expect the same will probably happen this year.

By the way, yesterday's game was the 5th in a row between those 2 teams where the favoured team has lost. Now, having said all that, why didn't I pick them???

Gee Sportznut.
After looking at my futures based on your ratings,I was gonna suggest you do something with Sydney.
Fortunately silence was golden.

Looks like if I keep picking them to lose I should win more often than not then if you all are right (which I THOUGHT I was in the first place ).Go SAINTS,ADELAIDE and HAWKS today.2 outta 3 I'll be very happy.

The easiest thing to do Marko,is to get confused between who you think will win and who you would like to win.
Use your head more and your heart less. And relax when you are making selections.
Not that my selections are outstanding, but I can always give free adviceEven if I have trouble following it!

You tell me one person who has any interest at all in afl tipping that can be relaxed trying to tip the winners every week. Its a stressfull bloody nightmare I find. The 1 round that looks so obvious on paper (like top 8 v bottom 8 )and creates the least amount of stress to pick usually results in a horror round where you score 2 and the uninformed guessers get 6-7/8.
I was picking with my head too not my heart.I'm so confused. The thing is now as well how can I tip against the saints next week @ telstra (opposition.........you guessed it.)
