Rule 1: Operate only on 2YO and 3YO races.
Rule 2: Any last-start winner is a bet provided it has never won on the track conditions previously.

At first glance Glenno that's a strange one!

Ditto as I stated against your original post Glenno. Would appreciate a little more elaboration please. eg. what factors highlighted this particular 'system' as a potential winner. Thanks.

Paddy! you'd be surprised to learn how well a system like the "pink cap" would work. I once checked the first, second etc.letters in the horses name for someone on an other forum, and from memory, some combinations actually showed a profit. I don't follow this line of selection but if you think about it, since there are only an avarage of 10 horses in a race the odds are not too bad. I am flat out making a crust at the moment but will check out the "pink cap" soon as I get the chance, just to make sure I am not missing out? LOL.
Cheers.

TAB 1 = MUST HAVE WON LAST START

TAB 2 = MUST HAVE RAN 2nd LAST START

ETC ETC.

Cheers.

Yeah my mistake, horses don't wear caps in a race. It's the first horse with the jockey wearing the pink cap,now if there are no pink caps, lets go for pale blue,no pale blue,no bet.

So am i!

But the part about certain letters in the name is true. This bloke who asked me to run the query was serious about it, he also wanted the win rate of horses with a single name like "Beauty" as opposed to "Black Beauty"

I don't beleive in this sort of thing but it was a small favour and if it made him happy it, why not oblidge?

Captain charger I'm eager to do a run on pink cap horses but I can't find a web site that keeps historical pink cap data. A few of them have useless crap like lengths beaten and weight carried but the real data like caps and tail length aren't mentioned.

Kenny, tail length, you may be onto something here old mate, something that has never been looked at before.Has anyone got stats on the horse with maybe the most hairs in the tail and the jockey wearing a pink cap.Actually, tabonline has colours,if I get a chance in the next 40 years I may check it out.

Now isn't that funny. Big Black Beauty won race 2 at Dubbo today paying $28.90 on Unitab and $44 on Betfair.

How about stats on gelded horses resuming?

An obvious weight reduction etc.
