AFL survivor

Just thinking yesterday about another comp besides the tipping comp, a survivor comp,thinking along the same lines as the sportstab one, picking out the best 3 games [ or 4 games] at random and run it for 6 weeks at a time :

picking all 3 - immunity from next week
picking 2 - advance to next week
picking 0 or 1 - GONE

then after 5 weeks [if there's more than left, cloest to the winning margin or score on the last selected game.


any one interested or has any suggestions to fine tune it [lets give sportz a break at running everything, dont know how he does it,thinking of 1 for the NRL also.

sounds cool...i remember running a horse racing survivor and it lasted about 3 weeks!!!

OK, might be a short comp by the look of it ,

run over 6 weeks ,Rounds 3 - 8, if more than one survivor left after round 7, the winner will be closest to the winning score in the selected match of round 8

pick all 3 - immunity from next week
pick 2 - advance to next week

Well I reckon they all done pretty well considering there is every chance none of them may know that a footy is actually oval shaped!

Maybe so some of us can linger a little longer next time goldmember may I suggest a subtle change to the survivor criteria:

picking all 3 - immunity from next week
picking 2 - advance to next week
picking 1 - advance to next week but need to select all 3 winners the next week to remain in the comp & then of course will automatically have immunity from the following week
picking 0 - GONE
