Fan, this only my ratings for players,as a guide only, and can vary a little from one week to the next,
missed round 1
R2 4/7
R3 3/7
R4 2/7

I also do my own prices when the teams come out, which i fare a lot better[but not always back] for instance last week:
had the panthers @ $1.60, they opened up at $1.47- no bet
the storm @ $1.85 -they opened up at $1.67 unders for me- no bet
raiders @ $1.75 -opened up at $1.85 out to $2 - didnt back them [stupid]
cowboys @ $1.10 opened up at $1.22 -specials - unloaded on them

souths @ $1.70 [?] opened up at $3.15 didnt bet sunday
sharks at @ $2.05 - opened up at $2.15 "" "
rooster @$1.40- opened up at $1.22 [stupid price] " "

i had the raiders rated on top but picked the dragons and also rated the bulldogs on top but picked the sharks in the tipping comp, so i dont always follow them., there just a guide for me.

Searay,i factor in their recent form as well, probably where the cowboys were down a little from the sharks is the 2 halves, Kimmorely/Dykes would HAVE to rate higher than the [without Shepard] Myles/Thurston duo.

Surely your joking, Thurston is the form player of the comp, dykes is the worst buy of the season and if any of the sharks forwards get within 5 of each cowboy forward, then u have to reassess your rating formula,..........Just my opinion......Cheers.

Saints to start favourite against the unbeaten manly.....PLEASE, They havent won yet!!!

The sharks $1.60 , the cowboys 2.20, what tha?????????

The panthers my goodness,. giving the storm start, what planet is that on?
The unbeaten raiders getting 4.5 from the woeful chooks, and its down at canberra......PLEASE.

Might well be a position vacant at the TAB next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see the early money this week is for the warriors [$76,500]and the storm +2.5.
Interestingly the warriors have not won in NZ outside Ericsson stadium,1 draw and 4 losses from 5 games at West Pac Trust stadium, and 0/2 at Jade Stadium [this weeks venue] losing in R14 last year to the W/Tigers 50-4 !
[also to the Balmain tigers 34-22, back in 96']. The Warriors have not won 2 straight since the finals in 2003, and their fav's for this game - go figure ?

Searay,

Notice those first 3 ones. Home teams. That's the main reason that St Geo, Sharks and Penrith are favs. Not saying that Manly, NQ and Melb won't win, but 6 home teams out of 7 won last week. It's a powerful factor. As for the Roosters, they obviously think a return to form is due.

those prices are silly, i had the storm, tigers - fav's,manly and cowboys a lot shorter, broncos a LOT longer, the knights/rabbits equal favourites or if you like equal outsiders, and the roosters slightly longer, have to sit down and think where to bet this week.

My money of the round has to go on the Storm

I do understand all that sportz, but in penriths case especially, they have a terrible home record against the storm, and thats when they are playing well! You could just about say that the storm are absolute certainties this week the way penrith have been travelling.
And the sharks, they have beaten penrith at home who were horrific, the eels, say no more and the dogs at home who had more injuries than sutherland hospital. The cowboys also would have tro be close to absolute certainties.....

Just my thoughts......CHEERS

Geez Chuck you're a bit rough on the Sharkies having them in 13th. Surely they are going better the the Bunnies and Panthers, not to mention teams like Parra and the Dogs.

Other than that though it looks to be a solid lineup you have there.

Cheers,

Mark

No doubt the bet of the week is The BRONCOS, take them at the line which will be very safe......

im gonna have a second think about the broncos.. in the past this team has cost me the most with upsets... Parra could still win this one...

After what happened to the broncos last week, they will not get beat against the terrible eels!

I just couldnt believe the NRL prices this weekend
MELB ,SEA EAGLES, COWBOYS ..all over $2 Canberra and Tigers not without a chance up there as well VALUE VALUE VALUE .
On reflection though the bookies arent idiots or a benevolent fund
Im stumped.... they cant reckon the hometeam advantage is worth that much in these matches

I suppose the old adage of If something looks too good to be true ....It probably is ......... comes to mind .......

But I just cant see those top 3 getting rolled or at worst Melb and Cowboys Look like DEAD SET SPECIALS(havent heard that saying for yonks)...........whos all the big money going on (not that theyre right all the time) ..bugger me I cant work it out
If they were paying 1.7 or 1.8 Id still think they were good bets but $2 and over WHY ARENT THEY FAVS???????????????????????????????????????
Any thoughts

No idea, but agree too, absolutely ridiculous odds to the storm and cowboys. My goodness the cowboys opened up 2.40, that didnt last. The storm also get 2.5 start at 1.85......PLEASE. Maybe its just too good to be true....
