Video Comments

Does anyone know of any organisations / individuals etc who sell video comments on horse races?

What I mean is a service which provides an individual comment (usually in shorthand) for every horse that runs at a meeting?

It'd have to be a fairly comprehensive service, does anyone offer it that anyone knows of????

I am very interested in purchasing that, but don't know where to look.

www.tvn.com.au gives you the actual VIDEOS for every metro race for the past 5 years or so. Just type in the horses name and it shows you all their starts on video

i'm not sure if they actually give you comments, but you can actually see the race for yourself which is a bonus

i'm not sure what the cost is for the full package though

Yeah I subscribe to TVN, but having a comment is a quicker way for someone. They don't have to spend two minutes per run watching it, they read the video comment summary of the run and know automatically what happened to the horse.

Reading a comment which says, in shorthand version, something like "Well back in a good pace, ridden up straightening, no acceleration, outpaced at the 200, plodded on one paced under the whip" tells you exactly how a horse went (terribly, by the sound of that comment!) and you don't have to look it up on TVN.

THAT'S what I am looking for!!

Duritz - Depending on which states you're looking for there is one provider that's an expert at providing video comments but I'm probably not allowed to mention their name on this forum, but they also provide very good form guides.

You will have to work that out for yourself I'm afraid.

Actually their form guides are Super really, aren't they....

They DO provide video comments on their guides, as do RACENET for NSW meets, but I am actually after Vic meets, and what I am REALLY chasing is downloadable video comments, which can be put into a database, rather than just viewing them in a form guide on a website.

Any ideas in that respect?

I'm also after video comments.

Also as a TVN subscriber I only get MEL and SYD video replays. Is there any service that offers Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth videos?

Any pointers appreciated.
